There’s a lot of stigma around male grooming. But in today’s society, it’s simply not acceptable to be scruffy, smelly and unkempt. So catch up, men! Men’s Grooming Day encourages men everywhere to buy and use grooming products and to proactively manage their appearance. Salons, hairdressers and beauty parlors often cater especially to men on this day with offers, education, and special consideration.

Slow down… breath, and relax. Relaxation Day is all about winding down and just taking it easy. If you’re lucky enough to have the day off work, enjoy a quiet morning in front of the screen, and perhaps consider some nice private moments in the afternoon all in the spirit of relaxing!

Symbolically speaking the left represents in the Asian culture the concept of yin, the emotions, while in the Christian world it represents the past, the place of origins, of the ancestors, of our history.
From ancient times until today, the hand was perceived as a guide of power, being able to transmit the unseen energy into the world of form. When you are in a state of relaxation or meditation, press your finger belly between them (combining your left hand with your right hand) and focus on the energy they transmit throughout the body. Your mood will definitely change!
On the left side of the physical body we have two fundamental organs, the heart and the spleen, and both the hand and the foot on this side, host the reflex points of these two vital organs.When we feel very exhausted, drained of energy and deeply emotionally dissatisfied (unfulfilled) we must restore the equillibrium of the spleen.
The spleen is the center of energy transport that results from what our stomach and bloood processed, it generates the vital force that the body uses to continuously regenerate, to keep ourselves young.
The lefthanders should be happy because more than others are using their talent being this way able to bring the spleen into balance. We all should remember to use more the left! Let celebrate the lefthanders day discovering the hidden power of the left hand!

This day is not only for the librarians but is for the reader in all of us, the celebration of Book Lovers Day! No matter your preference, if you read it at home with a cup of tea, share a book meeting with friends or go to the library and make use of the wonderful pieces on those shelves, just enjoy your reading! I am glad if you choose to do it in my company but you should know by the beginning that what I most like to read is the happiness of the others! Happy #BookLoversDay to you all!
